Non-Contact And Non-Invasive Method For Measurement Of Head Posture In Neurology
Patrik Kutilek and Jiří Hozman
Abstract
Head posture can be influenced negatively by many diseases of the nervous system, visual and vestibular systems. This article explains our method of non-invasive and non-contact head position measurement by only two cameras mounted opposite each other. By this way we could avoid an influence on patients during the time of measurement of the inclination (roll), flexion (pitch) and rotation (yaw) of the head. This is very important advantage for medical doctors because they can apply various examinations which need open space in front of a face.

Radar Interception Area Analysis
Štefan ŠPIRKO, Zdeněk MATOUŠEK
Abstract
The paper deals with the method proposed for radar interception area analysis, which can be utilized in routine applications. Paper presents formulas derivation for the evaluation of estimated parameters of targets located within radar interception area, which is utilizable for practical radar comparison. Proposed method is demonstrated with example of two particular made-up radar data.
Keywords
Radar cross section, false alarm probability, interception probability, radar interception area, target detection range.

Information Analysis In Air Defence Surveillance In Connection With The NCW Progress
Petr Vobecký, Miroslav Krátký
Abstract
The contemporary radar data processing methods are not sufficient enough for demands
of air defence fire units for the enemy aircraft goal analysis and the target pointing aberration
measurement. This paper analyses new possibilities of radar data processing in connection with the
Network Centric Warfare progress.

The Use Of Case-Based Reasoning To Robot Navigation
Jaroslav Hodál, Jiří Dvořák
Abstract
In this paper we deal with possible uses of case-based reasoning methods to improve autonomous mobile robot navigation. We describe CBR approaches to both levels of navigation, global and local, but the main attention is focused on a path planning problem. The aim of path planning is to search for paths between two points without collisions with known obstacles. At the same time, the length, difficulty and risk of paths need to be minimized. The verified paths are stored in a case base along with information about their properties. When proposing a path, first of all, the most similar already used paths are found. Then they are adapted to the new problem definition. When no sufficiently resembling paths are found, other methods are used to search for paths.

Remote Control Of Unmanned Devices
Petr Stodola
Abstract
This paper deals with communications protocol used for data transfer in a specialized wireless network. This network is intended for connection between remote-controlled reconnaissance devices. The protocol serves to arrange mutual communication between constituent devices (clients) and a control station (server). The protocol ensures automatic sending a GPS position of constituent devices, sending control commands and information, text or data messages. The protocol can be used for remote control of reconnaissance devices. This paper deals with the protocol on application layer.

Architecture of Mobile Robotics Systems
Jaromír Hošek
Abstract
Control systems of mobile robots are very complicated. The most of these systems are constructed for structured environment. Control systems designed for unstructured environment are more complicated then ones. This is a reason for decomposition of the tasks and the control system too.
Keywords

Using Artificial Intelligence For The Support Of Strategic Management
Patrik Kutílek
Abstract
The article called “Using artificial intelligence for the support of strategic management” is aimed at two contemporary modern disciplines. However, primarily it is devoted to applications of prospective methods of an artificial intelligence which, in common applications, will substitute classical mathematical methods in decision-making of the management of a company. These new analytical methods will be based on soft computing which at present is represented mainly by neural networks, genetic algorithms and fuzzy logic.

Abstract
This paper includes some possibilities how to solve problems with the improvement of systems
reliability on the field where traditional methods of EMC are not sufficient. Two basic types of
methods will be introduced. First, methods of software redundancy and second methods of time
redundancy will be presented.
